IDD and an Update on the ABI’s Activity

The Insurance Society of Edinburgh in conjunction with PFS is pleased to announce our next CPD event on the new Insurance Distribution Directive which comes into effect October 2018.

In the second part, Alistair Ross from the ABI will cover the ABI’s activity in Scotland – promoting the industry with stakeholders including Government Ministers, officials, MPs and MSPs. Discussing the major legislation at the moment including the Damages Bill, Pensions Dashboard, taxation, property insurance and personal injury law reform.

Attendees will have a better understanding of the legislative and regulatory landscape for insurance and long-term savings in the Scottish market.
