Threats to pension clients and opportunities for advice as a result of the Budgets 2016 and 2017

Wednesday, 12 April 2017
8:00 am (UK time)

We will also give our views on the Government's direction of travel with regard to State Pension, Pension allowances and the rise of the ISA.

Again this may influence savers' decisions in the short term if they wish to take advantage of the opportunities using the current allowances

With so many changes and forthcoming changes there is a clamour for advice particularly at retirement. Advisers need to beware of the potential impact to their advice process both now and in the future.

By attending this session delegates will take up the following learning points

• Reflect on the key changes to pensions in 2016 and the ongoing effect for savers

• Consider the impact of 2017 Budget changes on pensions and savings, and

• Identify opportunities to assist new and existing savers
