Speakers Bio:

Catherine Murton

I came to private practice a little later than most, having been a Tribunal Officer for the Valuation Tribunal Service for fourteen years, advising lay tribunal members on the law in relation to Council Tax, Business Rates and Drainage Rates. I trained in Salcombe in South Devon and later moved back to my home town in Yeovil, where I have practised for ten years. I am proud to be the Head of the Private Client Team for Pardoes Solicitors that offers a friendly, professional service for those seeking advice on Will drafting, powers of attorney, estate administration, trusts and tax planning. Although free time seems rare, I enjoy relaxing at my caravan in North Devon with my partner and our crazy spaniel, Cara.

Adam Hillier

Originally a primary school teacher teaching 8/9 years old I retrained as a Private Client Solicitor twelve years ago attending the College of Law in Guildford.

I have lived and worked in the Bridport area of Dorset for the majority of my life and am now Head of the Bridport Office for Pardoes Solicitors.

I specialise in the preparation of Wills, Powers of Attorney and Estate Administration.

I am married with three young children and enjoy watching and participating in most sports. I am a keen runner and have ran The London Marathon twice before.
