Webinar - Sustainable Finance

Wednesday, 14 April 2021
9:30 am – 10:30 am (UK time)
    • Helen Austin, Regional Sales Manager, Novia

This underlines the UK’s commitment to achieving a net zero carbon and climate resilient community and indicates Government recognition of the part that financial services and private investors will play in achieving this.

It is envisaged that Sustainable Finance will become a standard part of UK financial advice. This is likely to bring change for firm owners, Advisers, clients and every business function in between.

In terms of the sheer size of these likely changes, comparisons have been made with the changes that RDR brought on the Advice profession.

This session seeks to illustrate what those changes could entail, provoke thought and questions and provide some guidance on where to find help and advice.

Learning Objectives

At the end of the session, participants will have:

  • an understanding of Sustainable Finance and how it will affect UK advisory firms
  • an understanding of the many business changes that Sustainable Finance is expected to impose
  • knowledge of where to find assistance

Helen Austin is the Regional Sales Manager for the South West region for Novia Financial and Copia Capital.

Helen has had an interest in Responsible Investing for many years and has been a prominent voice in promoting the subject within Novia and Copia.
