The Insurance and Actuarial Society of Glasgow’s Young Professionals Group ran a technical seminar based around the subject of ‘Cyber Exposures’.
In a world of information and computer systems, cyber exposures are a fact of life. Everyone has heard about cyber breaches however do you understand them and do you understand the exposures you and your clients face as a business?
By attending this seminar delegates were able to identify:
- Main cyber exposures
- The regulatory environment
- Techniques used by hackers
- Real claims examples across various sectors
- Insurance solutions available.
The seminar was delivered by Alana Roche, Senior Development Underwriter for AIG and promised to demystify cyber exposures faced by businesses in today’s ever changing technology landscape.
