Marine & Goods in Transit Claims and Market Overview
The IASG Professional Development Group are happy to announce that their next lunchtime seminar will focus on issues affecting the Marine / Goods in Transit insurance market.
In 2018 Lloyds of London reviewed in detail the worst performing 10% of each syndicate’s portfolio. They called this the ‘Decile 10’. One of the areas identified was Marine / Goods in Transit and in this seminar we will hear from Graeme Blackie of Sedgwick Marine UK on some of the issues which have had an impact on the Marine market and the changing market conditions.
By attending this event delegates will be able to:
- To understand the complexity of transporting goods worldwide and within the UK, the pitfalls that occur and the issues affecting all parties in the transit chain
- Look to the future and understand the reasons for changing market conditions
