REGIONAL WEBINAR: Bank of England presentation on the Monetary Policy Report

The Insurance Institutes of Scotland are happy to announce their next regional CPD event.

This session covers the Bank’s central scenario for the economy in light of the impact of covid-19 and the implications for growth, inflation and unemployment. The discussion will touch on some of the key drivers affecting the outlook – both UK and global - as well as the principal challenges for corporate cash flow and the capacity of the financial system to respond and mitigate those challenges.

Learning objectives:
At the end of this one-hour presentation, delegates will be able to demonstrate an understanding of:

• UK Monetary Policy
• The outlook for the UK economy
• Contrasts with the general financial crisis of 2008

The event will be ran by Iain Duff, Deputy Agent for Scotland.

Attendees are encouraged to share their own views and insights.
