Our November speakers are Emma Bailey, Director of Authorisations and Innovation at the GFSC, and Caroline Bradley, Deputy Director of the Authorisations and Innovation Division, at the Guernsey Financial Services Commission.

Emma Bailey was appointed as Director of the Authorisations and Innovation Division in September 2018 having previously worked for 16 years in Investment Supervision at the Commission. During that time she oversaw the introduction of the Bailiwick’s dual regime for AIFMD. Prior to joining the Commission she spent eight years in the investment sector in Guernsey.

Caroline Bradley is Deputy Director of the Authorisations and Innovation Division having recently moved from the Banking and Insurance Division where she spent 12 years. She chaired the Captive Insurer Drafting Group for the International Association of Insurance Supervisors which produced the application paper on the Regulation and Supervision of Captive Insurers. Prior to joining the Commission she spent 13 years in the insurance industry in Guernsey.

The talk will take place at Moore's Hotel on Wednesday 11th November at 12.30pm. (£12 for members of the Insurance Institute of Guernsey and £14 for non-members). Please do remember that the attendance fee is payable whether lunch is taken or not.

Please feel free to encourage non-member colleagues to attend should this be an area of interest but, please note, members of the Insurance Institute of Guernsey will receive priority in the event of capacity being reached.

Attendance will provide 30 minutes of Structured CPD under the Chartered Insurance Institute's CPD scheme.

Should you cancel attendance after 7Th of February the attendance fee remains payable. If you cannot stay for lunch, it would be appreciated if you can advise us when reserving your place at the lecture.
