GII Annual Dinner

This year we are hosting our annual dinner at the award winning Mandolay Hotel in Guildford. The evening includes a superb AA Rosette four course dinner; and we are delighted to be welcoming the highly acclaimed speaker Alan Cleary as part of our entertainment.

More about Alan Cleary MA FCII FCILA:

As past-president of both the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters and the Chartered Insurance Institute, in 2002 he was voted the winner of the Insurance Times Lifetime Achievement award. In 1997, the U.N Secretary General appointed him a commissioner with responsibility for negotiating vast numbers of large corporate claims arising out of the Iraqi invasion and occupation of Kuwait. This task took 8 years and his adjusting and negotiation work in the Middle East continues, with a recent visit to Gaza. Alan is currently a director of several companies, including an insurer. He has made well over 2,000 after-dinner speeches and owns a number of non-insurance-related businesses, including Stand & Deliver, a highly successful international entertainment agency.
