We're really pleased to invite you to the Guildford CII Young Professionals BBQ which will be preceded by a talk on Presentation Skills.
This is a great opportunity to network and socialise with your peers and to meet like-minded people from your industry!
Presenting - there’s nothing to it!
The cold shiver we feel when we’re asked to give a short talk to colleagues, at a client event or even at a wedding can lead to sleepless nights and a paralysis that consumes us on the day - sound familiar?
Becoming comfortable with speaking in public is a great life skill and it can also assist with your professional potential. During this session we will look not just at mastering the personal threats which could derail you but also how to build content to get the best outcome for everybody involved.

Time: - 6.15pm for a 6.30pm start for the presentation skills session followed by BBQ, desert and networking drinks.

Richard Sheppard, Financial Adviser with Capital Planning Partners in Alton and President of the Surrey Region of the Personal Finance Society, I have been involved in this wonderful profession since 1984 - and have loved just about every minute of it, even the bit before regulation came in!
