Fundraising for Suffolk Mind!

We're no strangers to fundraising or the challenge of REDJan (Run Every Day January) here in the Institute, and this year is proving to be no exception!

Council members Jess Addison and Ollie Watson, along with colleague George Burch have taken on the challenge in style, looking to complete 550 miles through running and cycling (George).

All three are well on their way to achieving their own personal targets which is AMAZING!! We are super proud of all of them!

If you would like to support them in raising money for Suffolk Mind - last years' Presidential Charity and friends to the Institute - you can do so here:

If you'd like to know more about what Suffolk Mind do, you can visit their website https://www.suffolkmind.org.uk/.

Not only that, but our Immediate Past President Richard Brame, is taking on the challenge of FIREWALKING at the end of February!!

“We all have mental health and we all struggle from time to time. I am a big supporter of Suffolk Mind and all the great work that the team does across Suffolk.

I have again signed up for Red January and when I heard about the Firewalking opportunity, I signed up immediately. Whilst the event itself should be interesting, and I hope fun, this is a great opportunity to promote Suffolk Mind and raise some money to get behind Suffolk Mind team and their work.

I actually have quite small and delicate feet and have never done anything like this before – should be an interesting challenge!

Please support me and help Suffolk Mind.”
