Ipswich CII Lockdown as told by Sally Bramall

Ipswich CII Lockdown as told by Sally Bramall - Find out what council member Sally is up to during lockdown.

We want to continue to share what we are doing in lockdown with our institute members. Each week we hope to share the experience of one of our council members. We would love for you to get involved using the hashtag #ipswichCIIlockdown on social media.

This week we hear from our Inclusion and Diversity officer, Sally Bramall.

"Inspired by The Great British Sewing Bee and with a bit of extra time at the weekend, I have picked up an old hobby of dressmaking. It’s been a great practical way of switching off from home working and a relief not to be looking at a screen.

Like many thousands of other home sewers, I’ve joined the Big Community Sew to make face masks for neighbours, friends and family. But my big project (so far) was a summer dress – really satisfying to have a good project to get my sewing teeth into. Positive counterbalance to lots of baking for those that know me!!
