Statute and tort law constantly changes. This session is designed to look at changes over the past year and how the courts are interpreting, or may interpret those changes.

Learning Objectives:

By attending this event, delegates will be able to:

  • Gain an understanding of changes in legislation and case law impacting on risk assessments and the wider insurance industry
  • Learn of changes affecting both insurers and insureds in how they manage developing trends in claims activity
  • Come up to speed on how data protection and data sharing laws and regulations will impact businesses
  • Look over the horizon at emerging trends or problems for example intellectual property infringement

Stephen King is a partner and Insurance Group lead at national law firm Mills & Reeve. A specialist in policy interpretation and professional indemnity law, particularly medical malpractice.

This event will be held in the Legends Suite.

Lunch available at 12.30pm, with the session starting at 1pm, closing 2pm.
