Gillian Marples re-elected Institute President

The Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man is delighted to announce that Gillian Marples of IntegraLife International Limited has been appointed as its President for the year 2021/22.

Commenting on her re-election by members of the local institute at its AGM on 22nd April, Gill said: “I am delighted to have been re-elected President of our Local Institute. I look forward to working with the rest of the Council to develop CPD and networking events for our members. To facilitate the on-going professional development of members and expand the level of skill and expertise available across all sectors of the insurance industry in the Isle of Man.”

Gill joined IntegraLife International Limited as Director in 2014.

She started her career in financial services working for a large UK insurance group. She has worked in the Isle of Man insurance sector for over 20 years managing compliance and operations departments, the last six of which have been at IntegraLife International.

Gill is the immediate past Chair of the Manx Insurance Association and holds the CII Diploma in Financial Services (Dip PFS) and the Institute of Directors Certificate in Company Direction (Cert MIoD).

The AGM also saw returning Secretary John Walker take on the post of Deputy President along with the following Council officers:

Treasurer – Stephanie Coston-Holland

Education Secretary – John Hockney

Membership Secretary – Denver Brown

Dinner Secretary Katie McKenna

Vice President – Sandra Cardwell.

The Insurance Institute of the Isle of Man is the local branch of the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII) & also includes members of the Personal Finance Society (PFS).
