A brief introduction to Takaful (Islamic Insurance) and its application in the global marketplace.

  • A greater understanding of Islamic Family Takaful and Takaful
  • An appreciation of the main business models fundamental to Islamic insurance
  • Knowledge of the main differences between Takaful and conventional insurance
  • Awareness of the challenges facing operators as well as the opportunities open to all

Speaker Biography:

Paul Bromley is a Chartered Insurer and Director of PB Consultants Ltd (PBC). PBC focuses on building businesses performance, distribution, propositions, sales volumes and shareholder value. Specialising in Bancassurance, Bancatakaful, Family Takaful, conventional Insurance business launches and Strategic Alliances in EMEA and Asia.

Working with players like Zurich, HSBC Group, AXA, Nexus, SALAMA and clients such as Citibank, Standard Chartered and Al Rahji Bank. Paul is an energetic and practical executive, with 45 years’ experience in retail, corporate and “high net worth” Insurance and Financial Services, over four continents.
