This course will consider, in some depth, the special features of High Net Worth Insurance compared with, not just the standard household market, but also the Mid Net Worth Insurance contracts.
Objectives and content will include:
* Considering and defining the characteristics of a High Net Worth Customer
* Discussing how he special features of High Net Worth policy wordings impact and amend basic insurance principles, in particular, indemnity.
* Understanding the potential for High Net Worth business and its importance in relation to other classes of business
* defining the additional covers that are offered under High Net Worth contracts
* Developing an understanding of the special underwriting considerations arising from the wider and more regular features of High Net Worth risks, such as proposer characteristics, risk location and sums insured.
