CPD lunchtime lecture

From April 2013 to date, the sphere of personal injury claims has been the subject of significant procedural and legislative changes. David Williams will provide an update on how the changes impact on insurance claims, including an interactive workshop, in this one hour CPD lunchtime lecture.

This session is relevant for those working in the field of personal injury claims.

Learning objectives
By the end of this lecture you will:
have an overview of the changes implemented in the arena of casualty claims since 2013
be able to summarise the procedures now in place for low value EL and PL claims
be able to discuss the impact of the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013, the Criminal Justice and Courts Act 2015 and the Social Action, Responsibility and Heroism Act 2015 on injury claims

Speaker's biography
David Williams, a Partner in DAC Beachcroft's Leeds office, is Technical Manager for the firm's casualty service line and has significant experience of advising on and handling personal injury claims on behalf of insurers and their insureds.
