Harrogate lecture: The Insurance Distribution Directive (IDD) - Key Changes!

This event, for FCA regulated firms only (of relevance to general insurance firms - insurers and brokers), will provide an overview of the final set of near final rules that were published in January 2018 (we have now had three Policy Statements following three Consultation Papers). Whilst the EU have indicated a delay in implementation from 23 February to 1 October 2018 there are many changes that will still have to be made.

The Insurance Mediation Directive has been with us since 2005 and make no mistake; the UK will enact the IDD this year to ensure we trade with the rest of the EU on a level playing field.
