The seminar will provide an overview of the important clauses and also recent case law on these frequently used conditions and how they impact on insurance.

Learning Objectives:
By attending this lecture delegates will be able to identify:
• understanding the key clauses
• formation of contracts, are the CPA conditions incorporated?
• Payment under the Construction Act

Speaker Biography:
Jonathan has considerable experience over a wide range of engineering and construction disputes and professional indemnity claims including construction and engineering claims together with mechanical and process plant claims. He has acted for a number of contractors, sub-contractors and suppliers in a range of disputes and has advised insurers on policies and recoveries. He has experience of UK and international arbitrations involving construction and engineering disputes, and has been involved in a number of reported cases. He was involved in the drafting of the CPA Model Conditions. He has handled a number of adjudications for claimants and respondents and also sits as an adjudicator on the CPA panel.
