Kingspan Factory Tour
In conjunction with the Insurance Institute of Chester
A coach will be provided to the factory, pickup from Leeds at 6.45am (from the area outside the Queens Hotel).
We will have a guided tour of Kingspan’s factory and facility including various interesting talks, this is a great opportunity to learn more about panel systems and the fire testing regime for these.

10.00 – 10.15 Welcome, coffee & introductions
10.15 – 10.30 Introduction to Kingspan
10.30 – 11.00 Fire testing of insulated panel systems
11.00 – 11.30 Independently assessed real fire case studies.
11.30 – 12.00 Comparative Fire Test (Weather Permitting)
12.00 – 13.00 Lunch
13.00 – 14.00 Kingspan Factory Tour
14.00 – 15.00 Kingspan Fire Technology & Research Centre Tour.
15.00 – 15.30 Summary / Conclusions / Questions / Close
Please note that the Fire Technology & Research Centre is currently built but equipment is been commissioned.
Price: £20 Per Person (Further £30 charge will be made for any no shows without adequate notice). Payment required before the event take place. Three individuals per company, based on first come first serve.
