Our mental health makes up a significant part of our overall wellbeing. Therefore, taking care of our mind is just as important as looking after our physical body. It’s essential to understand how to best keep ourselves healthy and happy, building a toolkit complete with protective factors and life skills, learn how to overcome the problems we face - so that we can have fulfilled and enjoyable lives.

This engaging and interactive session will help educate you on mental health and wellbeing, the importance of looking after yourself, identifying some of the stressors we face as part of day-to-day life and, most importantly, how to overcome stress through building resilience.

At the end of the session delegates will have gained an insight into:

• Defining mental health and wellbeing, and what this means to you
• Different ways to look after our mental health, including the ‘Five Ways to Wellbeing’
• How to develop resilience, and understand mindfulness & mindful practices
• Top tips and skills to build your toolkit
