The Insurance Institute of Leeds is delighted to once again provide the Building Champions Coaching Programme. Building Champions is Jamie Peacock’s mentoring programme based upon his keynote seminar Champion Teams and the Principles of Success. The course covers Personal Development and Leadership Training, it is bespoke and will be tailored to your individual business and personal needs.

The Insurance Institute of Leeds is giving our members (including members of the PFS) the chance to participate in the programme and applications are now invited (see below).

Learning Objectives

Throughout the mentoring scheme, Jamie’s approach to coaching helps re-examine behaviours that hold back individual progress, and action positive habits for lasting change. You will see the benefits through:

Through the coaching program, Jamie will work closely with you to build on strengths and identify areas of growth, allowing you to develop personally and to create dependable and resourceful teams.

Who Should Attend

The Building Champions Programme is aimed specifically at senior managers, directors business owners and / or senior executive board directors.

Speaker Biography - Jamie Peacock MBE

Regularly described as one of the best players of his generation Jamie enjoyed a long and glittering career in the field of professional Rugby League playing with great distinction for Bradford Bulls, Leeds Rhinos, England and Great Britain. By the time he reached the end of his playing career Jamie had become the most decorated player of the Super League era.

Jamie now runs a number of successful enterprises ranging from Health and Wellbeing programmes to motivational talks targeting self-improvement, leadership and team collaboration. He is also now a keen endurance runner which he links to his support for charities, having raised over £100,000 for causes such as MND, Greenhouse Sports Project and Sue Ryder Hospices.

Dates: Friday 2nd May 2025 – Tuesday 17th June 2025

Venue and Format: The programme will be conducted over 5 sessions on a hybrid basis, with 2 sessions conducted online and 3 conducted face-to-face at a Leeds City Centre location (precise venue to be confirmed).

  • Explain in no more than 500 words the challenges that you have face in running your business or department / division why you think this programme would benefit you.

Applications must be received by Friday 28th March 2025, with successful applicants being notified by Friday 11th April 2025.
