Brokerbility Brains Clinch Quiz!
The Annual Institute General Knowledge Quiz took place at the University of Leicester on 14 November. This is always a popular and well-supported event and 20 teams took part, representing a broad cross-section of general insurance, financial planning and support service sectors.
As usual, Quiz Designer and Quiz Master, Mal Fairhurst, presented an entertaining and challenging Quiz, covering a wide range of subjects and quiz formats.
As the various rounds progressed (9 in all), scoring was high, and 8 teams were in contention for the title going into the final round.
In the end, last year’s winners “True Potential” finished as Runners-Up on 107 pts (although only 4 pts separated 2nd from 6th).
The Winners, however, with a total of 113 pts, were “Air Force One” from Brokerbility. They get to hold the Shield for a year.
During the evening a raffle raised £103 for Insurance Charities.
The next Institute Quiz will be a specialist “Music Quiz” and will be held on Thursday 12 March 2020 at the University of Leicester.
If you have not attended one of our ‘Quiz Nights’ you should think about entering a team. They are very good value, include a good hot buffet and generate excellent enjoyment feedback ratings.
