If the FCA have issued their policy statement in response to CP17/16 Advising on Pension Transfers (expected early 2018) then this will form the core topic, looking at the practical aspects affecting the advice process.

In the absence of the policy statement being published then the session will cover Lifetime Allowance planning with a practical walk through of how to manage this and get the best outcome for your clients.

Learning objectives:

  • To understand the practical implications of the FCA policy statement in response to CP17/16 (if available)
  • To explore practical options to deal with the Lifetime Allowance tax problems faced by clients
