AGM 2020
The Insurance Institute of Liverpool held their 2020 AGM on the 22nd April.
This year unlike no other year before, the AGM was held remotely as a video call due to the on-going COVID-19 pandemic.
17 members ended up in attendance and we are pleased to inform that the video call went to plan with no technical issues experienced!
This was Emma Lynch’s last meeting as President who gave an overview of some of the achievements of the past year and thanked council members for their support.
In the meeting, new committee members were nominated and agreed.
The report of the Secretary and the Financial Accounts were circulated and agreed.
The President advised the meeting that Council had unanimously agreed to support the nomination of Phil Beattie for President 2020/21. Joseph Carr was also unanimously agreed in as the Deputy President.
