12:30 pm – 2:30 pm (UK time)

Pensions update post-‘Brexit’: Following June’s unanticipated ‘Brexit’ vote and subsequent game of political ‘musical chairs’, (largely unpredictable only six months ago), James considers the extent to which the pensions landscape has (or hasn’t) been affected in this new ‘post-Osborne’ world.

The target audience will be financial planners, paraplanners, investment professionals, accountants and legal professionals.

The learning objectives will be to:

- Understand recent and ongoing developments in legislation that affect pensions and other tax-advantaged accumulation products; and

- Understand the advisory implications of these developments, as the UK population adapts to life outside the European Union.

The learning outcome will be for the audience to come away with a clear understanding of recent and future changes to pensions, against a backdrop of governmental and constitutional change.
