Presentation Overview
After watching Ben Fogle and James Cracknell’s TV documentary, rowing across the Atlantic in 2007, I was hooked. Then in 2010, myself and rowing partner (& best friend) embarked on a journey of a life time, starting in the Canaries, rowing 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in a 23’ rowing boat, unaided, finally arriving in Antigua after 75 days at sea. In doing so, raised £68k for Claire house.
The most amazing experience of my life, and something I would love to experience again, but this time, crossing the Indian Ocean!

o Born in Plymouth, now living in Parkgate (Wirral).
o Married for 16 years, with 1 x son (James)
o Aged 41
o Been in the airport fire service for 23 years, starting in the Royal Air Force in 1994, then joining Manchester Airport Fire Service, progressing through the ranks to Station Manager before joining Liverpool John Lennon Airport as Chief Fire Officer.
