Overview

The aim of this one hour session is to differentiate between having an emotion and doing something about it. It will introduce and establish the importance of emotional intelligence.

Learning Objectives:

At the end of this event, the delegate will be able to identify:

  • The background, myths and models of EI

  • Self-awareness and regulation

  • emapthy, social skills and quick wins.

Speaker Biography:

Adrian Nash is the Managing Director of Radius 360 Ltd, a learning and development company established in 1998 offering training, consulting, profiling and coaching services to business clients. He has expertise in the designing and presenting of a wide range of management and behaviour related training programmes, as well as specialising in the use of the Discovery psychometric instrument.

Adrian has been an adviser for the Highways Agency Training Board (responsible for the replacement of police traffic officers on the UK motorway network), he has run learning and development projects for the Scottish Parliament, the Angolan State Oil Industry, and is a tutor and assessor for the Institute of Leadership & Management and the British Institute of Facilites Management.
