Overview

Recent global events such as hurricanes, wildfires and pandemics have confirmed that the ability of a company to do business can be significantly impacted by events occurring far away from the company’s premises. While we are very good at taking care of the “known”, i.e. our own company assets and owned footprint, the “less known” exposures associated with the complex matrix of third party suppliers and contracted manufacturers provide a real challenge for risk managers.
This webinar will offer an overview of the key risks posed by supply chains, assist brokers and insurers in helping their clients navigate these risks, and offer a few tools to identify, quantify and mitigate these unknown exposures.

Learning objectives

After attending this webinar you will be able to:

• Help clients identify the key property risks that can impact their supply chain
• Understand some of the strategies used to quantify the financial exposure associated with supply chain risks
• Help clients to understand how such risks can be mitigated
• Help clients appreciate the gap between insured and uninsured risk
• Access some online tools that will help you identify and quantify risks at key supplier locations
