The Highway Code Changes 2022

This masterclass in negotiation focuses on how to create and claim value in a negotiation. A critical skill in a hard market. We will look at how to ensure the negotiation does not become focused around price and premium by discussing how to create value in a negotiation through identifying interests. We will focus on how to identify distributive interests (win-lose), integrative interests (win-win) and common interests. The “purpose of duty” and a major new approach to professional negligence claims from the Supreme Court
In 2021 the Supreme Court, consisting of seven justices, handed down judgment in two cases (Manchester Building Society v Grant Thornton UK LLP and Khan v Meadows). These are two major decisions that will have a major impact on anyone who provides professional services and how claims should be approached. The Supreme Court has created a new roadmap and provided guidance on this area of law that will have major ramifications.
