Announcing 'The New Class' Successful Candidates

The Insurance Institute of Manchester has been inundated with applications from enthusiastic members for their inaugural 'The New Class' programme. Over summer the institute searched for candidates with under 5 years industry experience, who are keen to develop both themselves and our industry, to take part in the training programme sponsored by LV=. The successful final 16 have been announced and been split into 2 teams, mentored by the president Fintan Griffin CII Chartered Insurer and vice president Karen Cartridge Dip CII.

From October, the successful applicants will attend 6 afternoon workshops, plus a trip to Lloyd's. There will also be projects for the teams to work on together to develop key soft skills such as project management, communications, report writing and team work.
