Football Tournament
It was another close tournament with some excellent quality football on display and a good time was had by all, the tournament culminated in Manchester’s answer to “El’ Classico” with the mighty County Insurance (2014 tournament winners) defending their title against Allianz insurance. Due to increasing popularity and in a tactical attempt to knock County off the top spot Allianz put two teams through the mill this year and they met in the Semi Final “Allianz 2” beating “Allianz 1” by 7 goals to 1!!! Sure there will be some chat in the office about that result! Meanwhile County eased past Chubb with a 7-2 victory of their own. And what deserving finalists with a close fought 4-3 victory to “Allianz 2” knocking County off their perch, but what will happen in 2016!!! Watch this space!
Thanks again to everyone who played, lets see if we can get a few more teams next year and see if Allianz can defend the title!
It’s that time of year again....IIM Football Tournament time!
Will the current trophy holders continue their fine run of performances and defend their well deserved title? Will there be new faces coming to challenge the old stalwarts? Who knows! All we know for sure is that it’s in late June this year so the weather should be brilliant, and the venue have decided to provide us with a drinks offer for after the tournament to reward our hard labour!!
What's included? Every team is guaranteed one hour of football, (3-5 games depending on numbers of teams) and a buffet meal (menu provided on request).
An engraved trophy will be presented to the winners, plus an individual medal or trophy for every team member of the winners and runners up.
How much? £180 per team maximum team numbers of 7, all abilities welcome.
Drinks offer: For anyone who wishes to stay and socialise after the event, you can buy 5 beers for £10.
