A review of the liabilities of owning property, both commercial and domestic, looking at what you may need to look out for when underwriting and handling claims.

Speakers’ biographies:
Roddy Macleod is a Partner at Weightmans dealing with employers and public liability claims. He has a wide experience of Occupiers’ Liability Act claims having defended the leading House of Lords case of Tomlinson v Congleton, the Court of Appeal case of Poppleton v Portsmouth YAC and most recently Grimes v Hawkins.

Claire Foster is an Associate at Weightmans. She handles a wide range of multi track employers' liability and public liability injury claims for insurer and insured clients. Claire has extensive experience of handling claims arising from household policies with a particular interest in claims arising from the Animals Act.
