Griffiths & Armour Professional Risks -Matthew MacLaren , Insurance Broker's PI
During the session Matthew MacLean will be looking at a number of areas that commonly cause issues for Insurance Brokers. This will begin with how communication errors can result in negligence claims. Then he will look at the issue of under insurance and the duty a Broker has to their clients in advising on having appropriate insurances in place. Finally he will look at the changes Insurance Act will bring and how Broker’s need to communicate these to their client.
By the end of this session, delegates will be able to identify:
• A greater understanding in how important communication is in minimising the risks they face
• How to look at their own processes with a view to implementing change that reduces the risks these risks
