Style in the City 2016

The most talked about fashion show in Manchester returns for its 6th season and this year will feature fresh entertainment, fresh food and fresh fashion. Guests from the Manchester insurance and financial services industry and associated businesses will enjoy an afternoon of entertainment with a light lunch and drinks.

Ladies flick your hair, roll on that lip gloss and glam up because Brutus Gold and his train of lurrrrve is back!!! Think Charlie's Angels, Starsky and Hutch, macho man, foxy lady, roller girls... Brutus will be bring a fantastic interactive afternoon of 70s disco to the fashion show, with the cast of the love train: Chad Valley (the disco detective), Bri Nylon (your synthetic DJ), Marshall Cavendish (the kung fu master). From giving out sensational prizes, being taught the 'New York hustle', to playing all the music that dancin' was made for...it will be an afternoon to remember!

Award winning Sunday Best (Telegraph Magazine Best for Women’s Fashion 2011) will be showcasing the lastest fashions, an iconic store specialising in effortless designer womenswear, which you can now also browse and buy online at www.sundaybestonline.co.uk

The menswear is provided by Loofe, a fmaily run business who has been trading for over 60 years in the Manchester area and has gained a reputation and an unyielding respect for excellence within the fashion industry, see www.loofes-clothing.com

Dress code: dress to impress or 70's fever!
Timings: Reception drinks from 11.45; guests seated for 12.15 followed by lunch, fashion and entertainment until 16.00.
Afterparty: Yes there is! We will be moving on to Revolucion de Cuba, just down the road at 11 Peter Street, who are offering 2 for 1 on cocktails from 5pm-7pm!

Menu
Entree: Champagne and strawberry sorbet
Main course: Roast breast of chicken wrapped in smoked bacon, crushed new potatoes, tender stem broccoli, carrots OR Baked feta, honey and spinach filo pie, red pepper rouille, watercress and balsamic (v)
Dessert: White chocolate cheesecake, chocolate glaze, Chantilly cream
Freshly brewed coffee and chocolates

-reception drink: Pimms for each guest
-2 course sit down lunch plus coffee and mints
