Through this period of enforced time spent at home many brokers and clients are taking the opportunity to assess their sums insured for suitability and the valuation industry has looked to evolve to match this.

This session will explain the process and the different types of valuations and what to look out for. It will also discuss the rise of desktop and online valuations and guidance around avoiding issues with this.

By the end of the session delegate will understand:
- Why a Valuation is of importance to both you and your clients
- The process around a valuation and what effects value
- What is acceptable when being given a valuation
- On-line Valuations and the pitfalls
- What areas of the market we cover and how we can help

Speaker Biography
Rachel has worked in the Art & Antiques industry for the last 25 years and over the past ten years she has been responsible for looking after both clients and professional advisers with their valuation needs. In 2016, Rachel set up Doerr Valuations.
