During this webinar we will investigate what has the impact of lockdown been on diversity and inclusion and how can that impact and momentum be maintained into 2021.

Learning objectives

By the end of the session, delegates will understand:

  • Why is diversity and inclusion important? How does it cross over into legal obligations?
  • What are the common challenges employers face in diversity and inclusion? What are the pitfalls to be avoided and common mistakes made when trying to introduce new initiatives?
  • Attendees will also receive a list of key considerations and questions to ask themselves regarding their business and what their D&I initiatives can look like next year.

There will be an opportunity for Q&A.

Speaker Biography
Jodie Hill originally trained as a barrister and cross-qualified to a solicitor. She set up Thrive Law in 2018 in order to ensure everyone can Thrive in the workplace, following her own mental breakdown in 2017. Thrive is now multi award winning being recognised for their commitment to diversity and inclusion and social mobility. Jodie is an advocate for mental health and launched the #One Mind campaign to ensure mental health risk assessments are mandatory in all workplaces. Jodie continues to disrupt the Employment Law and Mental health sector with her thought leadership and strives for social change, recently appearing on BBC Look North, ITV news, BBC5 live, the Guardian, the Times and the Yorkshire post, to name a few… as an expert in this area.
