Women’s Forum: Don’t be a passenger in your own career, take the driving seat
Do you pay attention to the opportunities around you? Do you ever feel discouraged to take a risk? Are you unsure of your career and what to do next? Do you seek change?
Join Sandra Lewin for this insightful webinar to learn more about yourself and how to take the lead in your career.
Often as women we stop ourselves from taking that next step, putting our hand up and being our own cheerleader. Yet we have what it takes to do it.
By attending this webinar, delegates will be able to:
- Reflect on how often we get stuck in our career or believe what other people tell us is the right career path
- Identify how we perceive ourselves may be different to how others see us
- Describe what we often perceive as weakness, due to our self-limiting believes, is actually a strength
- Identify tips on ‘micro’ networking and why it is important
- Appreciate your values, brand and strengths
Sandra, originally from Poland, has been in the London and Lloyd’s market for over 8 years. She has held various roles including broking, market development and more recently change management including a Brexit Programme.
Sandra didn’t always find it easy to fit in the insurance market. However, having developed and realised her personal brand she has decided to take the lead in her own career. She has recently undergone a number of complex procedures to deal with her Endometriosis and has decided to leave her role at Lloyd’s and become a consultant.
Sandra is currently studying towards her coaching certification, as she is keen to support women who want to make the most of their career and life.
