On behalf of our President, Mr Paul Chudley ACII DipPFS, it is my pleasure to take this early opportunity to invite you to our Annual Dinner. The Annual Dinner is the most prestigious event on the Institute's calendar, bringing together local insurance profession employers and employees (past and present). It not only presents an opportunity for you to network and catch up with fellow colleagues and friends but also allows you to demonstrate your continuing support for your local Institute and the work it does to support local professionals. Having listened to feedback received following last year's event we are returning to Jurys Inn Middlesbrough.

The evening promises to offer great value for money at just £35.00 per head.

About Alan Wright

For nearly thirty years Alan was one of the most well-known voices on BBC Radio and more recently a familiar face too on BBC TV. Highlights of Alan's career included three industry awards in 2001 and 2002. He also had the honour of acting as royal commentator for BBC TV when Her Majesty the Queen opened the Millennium Bridge in 2002. Many people throughout the UK and beyond know Alan Wright best as a top class after-dinner speaker. London engagements have included the Café Royal, the Park Lane Hilton, the Dorchester and the Institute of Directors, while international appearances have included the USA, Dubai and even France (for Martell Cognac). The Insurance Institute of Middlesbrough hosts regular, well-attended CPD and social events so it would be great if all key, local insurance employers could support this year's Annual Dinner. The Personal Finance Society (PFS) is going from strength to strength so it would also be nice to see lots of PFS members in attendance, individually or collectively.
