Diploma and Advanced Diploma Exam Revision

This session will focus specifically on CII Diploma and Advanced Diploma coursework, including tips of how to save time on each question and methods of preparation. It will also cover how to deconstruct questions and form answers.

To pass a Diploma subject it is also necessary to pass a multiple choice exam. The session will indicate how this differs from multiple choice exams at Certificate level.

By the end of the day, delegates will have:
• Explored how the coursework is structured
• Clarified areas of concern in the structure
• Discovered what the examiner is looking for
• Discussed common mistakes and how to avoid them
• Learned useful revision and exam techniques
• Seen how a marking scheme is applied for coursework
• Practiced a range of multiple choice options appliable to the Diploma

Trainer's Biography
Phil Peers FCII has been a part time senior lecturer within Birmingham universities for 19 years and has formerly held several senior management positions in general insurance, life and pensions. Phil supports the CII on a wide range of project work, has been an auditor and tutor for the CII distance learning, and is an examiner for the CII. Currently he runs a training company which delivers training workshops to over 1500 people annually across the UK and Republic of Ireland

There are 14 places available on the course (with a minimum of 8 required for a course to go ahead). Places are limited and will be served on a first come, first served basis. If you can no longer attend the course, please give 48 hours notice. Please advise if you have any special access or dietary requirements when you book.
