This interactive and practical session is fully contextualised for professionals working in the insurance sector and financial services. It will teach the key skill of how to write to influence customers and third parties. The skills taught can also be transferred to verbal communication when, for example, you may need to make a presentation for new business. The session examines how to structure your writing, the language of persuasion, techniques such as literary devices in
professional communication and much more.


By the end of the session participants will be able to:

  • understand the importance of structuring communication when seeking to influence the target reader.
  • use language and writing techniques that enhance the power of persuasion in communication.
  • communicate with clients or third parties to create a win-win situation for everyone involved.
