Webinar - Personal Impact and Power

Wednesday, 28 October 2020
1:00 pm – 2:00 pm (UK time)
    • Melissa Kidd,, Director, Motem Ltd.

Our personal communication style can greatly affect how effective we are. Whether you want to be more influential, understand the body language of power or come across more confidently in your conversations, this webinar can help. It brings together elements of communication, assertiveness and influencing so that you can be clear, confident and sure-footed when it matters.

Who is this for?

This is for you want to be perceived as credible as possible - especially around those more senior to you; you could be worried you sound quite young on the phone; you never think about how to use your body in important situations such as high level meetings and you want to start a meeting with impact.

What is it?

This is a taster session focused on how we communicate rather than what we say. The emphasis is on creating insight and increasing confidence plus reflecting on how you could be unconsciously eroding your impact.

By the end of the webinar, delegates will:
 Gain clarity on the impact that they would like to make in certain contexts
 Spot unhelpful language patterns and create more effective messages
 Understand the role of body language in turning up and turning down power and reflect on own habits that are getting in the way
 Understand the 3 core components of charisma
 Use two models to create an effective message and open a meeting with impact
