Practical Soft Skills & Communication Workshop- 22/06/2022

This course will be conducted online via Zoom.

This one-day course focuses on building great client relationships. You will learn techniques to build trust and move fluently through the meeting agenda, whilst maintaining focus on the client’s needs. You will learn the six key questions that achieve a real understanding of the client’s objectives, enable you to recommend solutions based on real understanding and produce a compliant file.

The cost is £50.00 per person.

The trainer is Adam Owen, a Director of NextGen Planners Ltd. All content qualifies as structured and accredited CPD.

In addition to his role as a Director of NextGen Planners Ltd, Adam is a CII, PFS and NSAFS accredited trainer and Past President of the Personal Finance Society. Adam designs and delivers professional development programmes for some of the UK’s most progressive financial services companies.

As the Chairman of three Trailblazer Apprenticeship development projects he has taken a keen interest in developing careers within the financial services sector and encouraging new entrants to the profession. Coupled with this, he works directly with schools, colleges and universities through programmes like the Career Ready Programme to help students plan their careers and enter the jobs market.

Prior to each course, Learning Outcomes and Delegate Packs will be issued.

The content of the day is as follows:

Morning Session:

  1. Creating a communication focused mindset,
  2. Building trust rapidly,
  3. Understanding and communicating your value proposition.

Afternoon Session:

  1. Effective questioning and listening techniques,
  2. Creating meaningful and memorable communications,
  3. Using rapport to take your communications to a higher level.
