The Insurance Institute of Perth and Dundee is delighted to announce that their next development event will be on Managing Yourself with Aviva trainer John Nutter. As this is a half day development session it will mean attendees receive a credit of 3.5 hours CPD.

The training is a participative workshop that is designed to enable you to focus on the choices and consequences you make and how they can affect your performance. You will be able to understand how your mind set can affect your resourcefulness and approach to situations. You will be introduced to tools and techniques that can help you to manage your internal state allowing you to reach your full potential.

Learning objectives:

By the end of this course delegates will be able to:

  • Gain clarity on the role you play in driving performance
  • Have a greater understanding of yourself and the behavioural choices you make
  • Understand the skills and mind set to exercise behavioural and motivational choice and create resourceful responses to setbacks
  • Discuss the impact your attitude has on your own and others’ performance

Delivered by John Nutter, John has been with Aviva for over 22 years, gaining experience in a variety of roles across both the Partnerships and Broker sectors. For more than 10 years now, he has worn a learning & development hat and thinks he has found his niche! As a CIPD qualified Learning & Development Manager, he still gets most enjoyment from getting his hands dirty, but he also leads a team of Learning & Development consultants who deliver solutions to Aviva’s national network of brokers and partners.

Please complete the Communication Styles Questionnaire below and bring this to the workshop.
