The Clock is Ticking
The Insurance Institute of Perth and Dundee is happy to announce that their next CPD event will be entitled The Clock is Ticking.
Join Alisdair Matheson and Jo Hughes from Brodies for a guide on time bar in Scotland. Looking at Prescription and Limitation they will identify how long your client may face a claim from a client, employee or third party and just as importantly, how long they may have to make a claim in turn. With reference to statute and case law, including up to date Supreme Court decisions, let them answer all your question on this sometimes-confusing area

- Key concepts including limitation and prescription
- Key facts which trigger the start of relevant periods
- The period for enforcement of various rights.
