You Are A Leader – Did You Know This?

The Insurance Institute of Perth and Dundee is delighted to be providing a coaching course of leadership skills for our next CPD event.

Ian Ferguson ACII Chartered Insurer, is a former director at Aviva and past president of Perth and Dundee CII and is our presenter for this session.

Ian is a highly experienced leader who is still striving to lead better. He is a qualified Executive Coach and a Fellow of the Institute of Leadership and Management.

The session objectives are:

- make you think about leadership and how you can be a better leader and
- create three personal actions to improve personal leadership.

We are all leaders. Whether with direct reports, our peers, virtual teams or even with our family.

We all know poor leadership when we see it, but do we actually know what good leadership looks like? This session will make you think about how you behave as a leader. It will give you a simple model to help guide you and make you think more consciously about how you lead. The session is designed to be memorable and practical.

Your team and your colleagues will thank you for attending but so will your future self as you achieve more in a happier and more fulfilling way.

Learning objectives
By attending this event delegates will be able to identify:

1 a much clearer understanding of what good leadership actually is
2 a simple model to take away and use to enable improved leadership
3 three very personal actions to improve leadership.

A buffet lunch is provided for CII members at 12.30pm and non-members should arrive at 12.55pm.
