The Insurance Institute of Perth and Dundee are happy to announce that their next online CPD event will focus on Behavioural Economics; what it is and how it can apply to financial services.

Learning objectives:

• A introduction to the FCA’s behavioural economics framework.
• A basic understanding of how the FCA have applied behavioural economics to date in financial services.
• Examples of behavioural economics interventions in financial services.
• Potential areas of application in insurance fields.

This webinar will be held on Tuesday 24th November (12:30 - 13:30) and will be delivered by Stuart Johnson.

Stuart is the Head of Behavioural Economics and Conduct at Aviva Life, responsible for supporting good conduct outcomes for our customers, staff, shareholders and society. Stuart leads the work to embed the Conduct Framework within UK Life and our Savings & Retirement Business.

As a behavioural economist Stuart brings a wealth of knowledge and experience around human decision making. Behavioural economics helps us to better understand our preferences, believes and how we make decisions. Applying this understanding to our customer relationships enhances the decisions our customers make about their own pensions, savings and retirement. Stuart has been a behavioural economist for over 15 years working in insurance, banking, consulting, the NHS and wider government roles.
