WEBINAR: Claims Club – Covid19 and Insurance Fraud
The Insurance Institute of Perth and Dundee Claims Club is happy to announce that their next online CPD event will be on Insurance Fraud and Covid19.
This is a one hour event providing one hour of CPD. This Webinar will be delivered by Paul Burke, Head of Special Investigation at QuestGates Chartered Loss Adjusters and Claims Specialists.
Paul Burke has been Head of QuestGates Special Investigation Unit since 2016 and before this he was director of his own independent investigation company, specialising in Commercial Property Claims, including Major Loss and High Net Worth. His company offered a bespoke investigation service to a number of adjusting practices and niche insurers; they were also responsible for setting up fraud teams and referral processes with a number of their clients.
This talk will discuss the effects of Covid19 on insurance claims with examples of trends seen since beginning of lockdown in March 2020, the methods adopted by QuestGates SIU – intelligence reports/telephone interviews/site visits etc and the future for fraud.
