Subject: PRACTICE MANAGEMENT - IMPROVED THROUGH TECHNOLOGY.
Speaker: Andrew Reeves, The Investment Coach.

Overview: Andrew will share his opinion on the best-of-breed technology. He will give examples of how technology can be tailored for Financial Advisers and importantly, how you might fill the gaps and/or completely replace the standard off-the-shelf IFA systems that are currently available. At the end of this event, delegates will be able to identify:

  • How technology is used and tailored for financial planners.
  • The rationale for any technology changes and how to go about it.
  • Security and compliance issues with respect to the technologies highlighted.
  • Short-cuts to hit the ground running with cloud-based software.

Subject: PUTTING YOUR NEW THINKING CAP ON
Speaker:
Kevin Holloway, Aviva for Advisers.

Overview: In the last 20 years there have been significant advances in the understanding of human behaviour and the decision making process. While it’s still important that advisers are persuasive, compelling and show that advice is in the customers’ best interests, it’s also crucial to tap in to the way customers actually make decisions. MINDSPACE will provide you with some simple tips and techniques to understanding how decisions come about. By attending this session, delegates will be able to:

  • Help influence the financial behaviours of clients in a sustainable way.
  • Shape actions around our inbuilt responses using MINDSPACE.
