Pandemic Stress and the Importance of Workplace Wellness
PLEASE NOTE, PLYMOUTH & CORNWALL INSURANCE INSTITUTE & PFS MEMBERS HAVE PRIORITY IN RESPECT OF BOOKINGS.
Wednesday 11th November, 1-1.30pm
With pandemic stress and the importance of workplace wellness being topical subjects affecting most of us, it is useful to find techniques to help deal with this stress.
This event is a taster session provided by Madeline Blackburn (click here for speaker bio) of Soul Spa Meditation and organised solely for CII and PFS members by your local institute as both an educational and "social" event.
It is suitable for all our members.
You will learn some techniques for dealing with stress in the workplace. With International Stress Awareness Week this week and the latest lockdown rules being announced, there is no better time to try something new to help your wellbeing.
The session takes place online via Zoom and you are welcome to join with camera on, off, muted or not.
This event is fully funded by your local institute to make it free for our members.
An optional donation to MIND charity is very welcome this month, if attending or not: https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/mindfullness
Soul Spa work with mental health charity MIND, providing other guided relaxation sessions, as well as donating a percentage of the fees of many of their sessions that are run online/in person at https://www.thesoulspa.co.uk/
We have more workplace wellbeing CPD events lined up for our members coming soon.
This demonstrates the quality of an event and that it meets CII member CPD scheme requirements.
1/2 hours' CPD can be claimed for this event if relevant to your learning and development needs.
It is recommended that you keep any evidence of the CPD activity you have completed and upload copies to the recording tool as the CII may ask to see this if your record is selected for review. Details of the scheme can be viewed online at www.cii.co.uk/cpd.
